Managing Director
Rod Walker co-founded Action Aluminium in 2005, following over a decade as General Manager at Smart Aluminium. As Director & Secretary, he’s grown the business to 9 branches and around 90 employees.
An avid golfer and Richmond supporter, Rod brings the same commitment and teamwork to Action’s culture that he values on the sporting field.
Sales & Marketing Director
Tony Mackay co-founded Action Aluminium in 2005, after working his way up from delivery driver to Victorian Sales Manager at Smart Aluminium alongside Rod Walker. He’s built a strong culture and sales team across both businesses, driving considerable revenue growth.
A devoted Carlton supporter and grandfather of three, Tony believes loyalty and looking after people matter as much in business as in family.
Chief Operating Officer
Tony Ferracane has worked in the aluminium industry since 1995, holding every role at Action Aluminium from Machine Operator to General Manager. That hands-on experience gives him a deep understanding of the business, backed by a strong work ethic and clear communication.
A family man and Carlton supporter, Tony believes trust, teamwork and respect are the foundations of success.
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Barrah is an experienced finance professional who joined Action Aluminium in 2010 as NSW State Manager, and now oversees Finance and IT across the Group. He holds a Bachelor of Business, is a CPA, and is SAP Finance certified.
A keen skier and Hawthorn supporter, Michael values preparation, resilience and teamwork—on and off the field.
National Sales Manager
Daniel Mackay has been with Action Aluminium since 2018, starting as a Warehouse Assistant before growing into a Sales Representative known for new account acquisition and consistency. His varied background in retail, hospitality and production has shaped his leadership style.
A Carlton supporter and bass guitarist outside of work, Daniel believes dedication and strong relationships drive success in business and life.
